To all the teachers out there, hear this out; no offense. Take offense.

Believing and giving students second chances are incredibly important. Not five fingers are the same or everyone doesn’t have the same wave length to absorb equally. Every student requires different techniques to absorb or understand. Yes, students do mistakes but adults too. Not pointing out specific ones but to them who really doesn’t believe in second chances are not worth being called teachers. Yes there are some teachers who compensate and equally compromise, but why cannot those teachers understand?

What are second chances? Yes this requires patience. This requires energy to develop within one self. In this situation, when students are studying on a digitalized platform, why everyone thinks that this is much easier way to study than doing it traditionally? Why surroundings of students thinks that this is much easier way to go with. This is actually the most screwed system we are dealing with. Proposed or not.

So talking about teachers, why do they consider us as we’re robots? Why do they think we can easily manage tons of homework and we don’t have a freaking life to live? And by staying at home we are good to go with a lot of homework? Can you just imagine? Whole day taking classes, assignments, projects, homework and extra work, presentations and supposedly destroying our vision. And at last when you really need that motivation to go up there comes, insult, demotivation, insane fuckery. Why is it so? Are we responsible for the good and bad temperament of teachers? Why environment of a classroom depends on the tenor of a teacher? Here both parties, student and teachers are compromising on each level, but what annoys you the most is that, why an environment of a classroom depends on a mood of a teacher?

Here are some of things which some of the teachers needs to hear out. Why don’t they put themselves in the shoes of a student? Because they really need to acknowledge that a student is not their personal property rather they have a fucking life out of the classroom. They have problems outside their classrooms. When they aren’t ready to hear out a student, what do they expect? So first listen and then judge. Having an attitude to appreciate students on small things won’t ruin your self respect. Have you even thought about this that your little encouragement can motivate a student to cross their own limits? Consider the real motivation behind disruptive behavior, also look out in a more positive and constructive way.

Playing role as a student I think, we all are compensating on each level. We are sacrificing our time. We are giving out our best. We are sacrificing the time that is meant to be spent with our families. We are sacrificing our health. All to please our teachers. To get good grades, why? Because in the end good grades matter and most of all, trying to impress teachers and to make them happier with our work which in the end our efforts becomes useless because they are never happy. Because this actually depends on their whole kind of frame of mind. Giving second chances are really difficult? Do they require extra effort? Do they take much time? By giving them second chances, they are proving to learn how much they really know, outside of the anxiety, the pressure, and the rigidity that can occur. So why not try it?  Give your students back that test and tell them to fix it, give them back their work and tell them to enhance it.  Give them another chance to learn.

    Hum sab ko unity dekani chiya aur HEC ko is baat ka ehsas delna chiya kai hum insan we are not robots. Robots also need rest and we are working 24/7. They should altesat provide us free Internet and latest technology and they should increase the plagerism policy.
    We all are facing mental health issues and some of us are also suffering from depression.
    Education teaches us humanity but now the education is just a business. And due to many technical issues many students can’t submit their test and assignments on time which results in bad grades. Is this humanity.
    We cooperate with the teachers but they don’t.

  30. ? Right ?. If a teacher is in a good mood he listenes his student well. If a teacher is not in a good mood he does not listen to his student. Even when the teacher gives more work to his student then the student become distracted and also distracted from his work and he doesn’t like to study. And also if a student wants to show his talent he is not allowed to do it and in the end the student has to do what the teacher says.

  42. Well one of the major flaws of our society have been enlighted in this article. It’s true that teachers are not teachers anymore(mostly). They are like tyrants( no offense ?) and consider that students have same caliber as they have attained by age and can do stuff as they do. But it’s not it. A teacher is more of a friend of the student. That person known as teacher is the one who actually brings up a child… Well the gist is, ways should be changed and cooperation from both sides is required.

  57. We saw whole world change in Past few decades, from industry to living standards of life and mainly everything changed. Few of them went obsolete and few were replaced with newer and better things. Education mostly remained unchanged in our country. Although we adopted new things and technology but core system remained the same. We have projectors and fancy animations to portray of our stuff but the stuff (information and knowledge) remained the same.
    Fast forward to the time of COVID and online classes, whole education system is forced online. 1st of all students who studied their whole lives in conventional education system are not prepared enough to adopt this system. And mainly teachers aren’t trained well to take full advantage of this system. They are using this system and teaching by their conventional methods. Its like building a bullet train track but deploying a steam engine on it. Both sides should be trained and new educational material should be arranged that is online friendly.

The “bad” education system is the invention of social media . Few of us use it to gain information . But 99% of the people are using it for fun or wastage of time. Also now a days education system is based on RATTA system that’s why people are facing unemployment . Thank you ❤️ so much for highlighting this problem. Many people are focused on old professions ( doctor , pilot and engineer ) in order to earn money and respect. And not giving importance to market trend . School should conduct the career counseling session To guide up coming generation according to market trend and demand . Not to pressurized our siblings and children only to score high marks ….. It’s a duty of parents and teachers to clear the concept of students related to certain topic..

  76. My feedback would be that ,yes I agree it’s difficult for the students but I also believe digitilise teaching is equally difficult for the teachers as well . And as its said that it’s a compromising time for everyone. Due to pandemic everyone is compromising in his/her life in some or the other way. Where as giving second chance to students comes ,yes I strongly believe that there should be second or even more chances always given to the students according to their abilities. And little encouragement and motivation can do wonders for the students. It does affect their performance and gives them courage and motivation to do better.
